The MCRD Museum Foundation provides highly skilled docents to teach formal classes on Marine Corps hisory and traditions to MCRD's Recruits. This training is accomplished on T-56 of the Recruit's training cycle, and the instruction provided comports to the MARINE Corps' authorized training curriculim on Marine Corps history. The Docent Training occurs at the Command Museum, utilizing the Mueseum's exhibits and displays as effectice training aids.
